Job Summary
Position:Scala Spark Developer - Big Data & Liquidity Reporting
Location:4 days per week in office (Toronto Downtown)
Structure: Contract 1 year possibility for conversion to FTE
Pay:$86.00-$92.00 p/h inc.

Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Scala and Apache Spark for building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Apache Hadoop HDFS and Apache Cassandra
- Solid SQL skills for data querying transformation and aggregation at scale
- Experience integrating data from diverse source systems such as transactional risk and financial platforms
- Familiarity with data validation reconciliation and error-handling best practices
- Knowledge of enterprise SDLC standards security policies and governance frameworks(optional)
