Elevate Recruitment & Staffing is hiring a Sales and Marketing Assistant for a Windsor based manufacturer and distributor of consumer products. This is a hands on role supporting a small sales team with real ownership of accounts and campaigns rather than fetching coffee. Responsibilities

Supporting the sales team

• Prepare quotes enter orders and follow up on open accounts
• Maintain customer records pricing and order history in the company system
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email and route them to the right person
• Coordinate with production and shipping on order timelines and customer commitments
• Prepare sales materials product information sheets and presentations
• Build and schedule social media email and promotional content
• Track sales and campaign performance and pull together simple reports
• Support trade shows product launches and customer visits
• Handle general administrative work that keeps the sales function moving

Growing into outreach

• Follow up on inbound leads and qualify them for the sales team
• Reconnect with lapsed and inactive accounts
• Research and build prospect lists in target markets
• Take on your own outbound calls and accounts as you build product knowledge

What you need

• Post secondary education in business marketing commerce or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Comfortable on the phone with customers
• Solid Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Organized accurate and able to manage several tasks at once
• Self starter who takes direction well and follows through without reminders
• Interest in sales marketing and consumer products
• Valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle is an asset
