RQ11436 Report Developer Senior

Location: ONSITE at21 College Toronto

Duration: 1 Year (250 Business Days)

Must Have:

• Proven work experience as a Power BI Report Developer
• Demonstrated experience with M DAX and Power Query
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem and the Power Platform
• Proven experience with SQL Server and Power BI Datasets
• Proven demonstratable experience in data modeling and data visualizations for Power BI; working with different data schemas and BI implementation methodologies

Deliverables:

• Create Power BI report(s) data models
• Undertake special assignments/sub-projects as assigned
• Conduct assess evaluate and document stakeholder interests and business needs
• Ensure alignment and adherence to IT processes and standards
• Support the testing team during system and UAT testing
• Participate in Knowledge transfer

Skills and Knowledge:

• Proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI developer building Business Intelligence reports and dashboards
• Demonstrated experience with M DAX and Power Query
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem Power BI service Azure Datafactory SQL Server
• Proven experience with SQL Server and other database technologies
• Proven demonstratable experience in data modeling and data visualization; working with different data schemas and BI implementation methodologies
• Knowledge of data analysis data management
• Proven ability to partner with internal/external stakeholders and liaise with technical experts and non-technical colleagues
• Experience in understanding capturing and analyzing complex and sometimes competing business requirements to develop Power BI and Business Intelligence products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Strong written presentation and interpersonal communication skills with special attention to correct use of tense grammar/spelling and terminology
• Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills including the ability to plan and prioritize workload ensuring timelines are met and respond to demands of a dynamic environment

Mandatory Requirements:

• Use Power Query to extract data from different data sources and choose a storage mode and connectivity type.
• Profile clean and load data into Power BI
• Design data models that are intuitive high-performing and simple to maintain
• Create compelling Power BI report designs and report formatting including report navigation for all audience types (executive operational)
• Examine sort and present data using Power BI in a cohesive manner
• Connect Power BI reports to data sources
• • At least 5 years of experience
  • All roles procured are required to be cleared through the Contractor Security Clearance Process of the OPS.
  • Security Clearance process levels roles etc. are subject to change without prior notice. Candidates may be required to undergo revised/new process (or levels) any time prior or during the term of the contract.
