Job Summary
Position: Rewinder/Inspector
Company: Perflex Label Printing
Start Date: Monday August 24
First-Day Start Time: 7:30 AM
Regular Start Time: Approximately 5:00 or 6:00 AM
Shift: 8 hours or longer depending on production requirements; weekend availability may also be required
Supervisor: Jerry
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Interview: No client interview required
The Rewinder/Inspector will be responsible for supporting the final stages of label production by rewinding and inspecting finished labels to ensure they meet quality and production standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operate and monitor label rewinding equipment.
- Inspect printed labels for defects inconsistencies and overall print quality.
- Verify quantities counts measurements and other production information accurately.
- Identify and separate defective or unacceptable labels.
- Ensure finished rolls meet required specifications before completion.
- Accurately complete production and quality-control documentation.
- Use computers and production systems as required to record or verify information.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Follow all safety quality and production procedures.
Please prioritize someone who is:
- Very good with numbers and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable using computers/technology.
- Able to identify small printing or quality defects.
- Reliable and punctual particularly for the early-morning schedule.
- Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Available for longer shifts and weekend work when required.
- Able to learn equipment and procedures quickly.
