What Youll Be Doing

Take this opportunity to join a great company as a Reliability Software Test Engineer. We are seeking a motivated and talented Test Engineer to work closely with R&D teams (optical electronic and software) to develop software for testing the reliability of new product platforms.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop software to automate testing in the lab
• Support technicians in the reliability lab
• Build and maintain test set for modules and circuit pack testing
• Investigate and debug failures
• Manage and report large amount of data

What Were Looking For

Education:

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-5 years experience in developing software for instrument control either in a research or manufacturing role.

Skills:

• Experience with Automated Test System C or C#
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment with excellent communication skill;
• Experience in any of the following is an asset:
• Knowledge of optical components and systems;
• Experience with SQL and web app development;
• Hands-on experience with electrical and optical test and measurement equipment.

Salary Range: $71450 - $102100 CAD (flexible).

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience skills and line with our commitment to being a great place to work Lumentum offers competitive total rewards which may include annual bonus equity and comprehensive health and welfare benefits.
