Pay: $32.00$34.00/hour

• Provide safe compassionate nursing care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards of practice.
• Administer medications treatments and other nursing interventions as prescribed.
• Assess monitor document and report changes in residents physical mental and emotional health.
• Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical concerns and emergency situations.
• Supervise mentor and support Personal Support Workers (PSWs) while promoting high standards of resident care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies infection prevention and control (IPAC) and health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents families physicians and members of the healthcare team.

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (issued within the past 12 months).
• Current TB screening/clearance.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous experience in a retirement community long-term care or seniors care setting is considered an asset.
• Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and communication skills.
