Job Summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Full-Time Registered Pharmacy Technicianto join our team at Janzens Pharmacy - Bay & Algoma in Thunder Bay listed is a starting point only and will be determined based on candidate Focused Care Responsibilities: Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providersEnsure patient safety through accurate and high-quality preparation and release of medicationsTransfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmaciesProcess prescriptions by entering orders counting measuring compounding and packaging medicationsMethadone dosing preparationPerform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safetyMaintain accurate and confidential patient records ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standardsOversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription fillingQualifications: Licensed and in good standing with Ontario College of Pharmacists Injection certification is requiredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyCollaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environmentCompensation & Benefits: Competitive wages Comprehensive health and dental benefitsLicense and malpractice reimbursementRRSP matchingOpportunity for career growth and professional development supportWho We Are: Neighbourly Pharmacy is Canadas largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
