Job Summary

Position Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Toronto ON Canada (Onsite)

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent

Role Overview

Our client is a well-established healthcare organization in Toronto seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will assess patient needs administer treatments and medications monitor patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients monitor conditions and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications treatments and clinical procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor and document patient progress vital signs and clinical information.
  • Assist physicians and healthcare professionals with patient care and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergency situations.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment medication and ongoing care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
  • Follow infection prevention patient safety and healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver effective patient care.
  • Maintain a safe professional and supportive clinical environment.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) is required.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licence to practise in Ontario.
  • Clinical nursing experience in a hospital clinic or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong patient-care communication and clinical assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of medication administration infection control and nursing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work shifts weekends and holidays when required.

Good to Have

  • Experience in acute care emergency medical-surgical ICU or long-term care.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
  • Additional nursing certifications such as BLS ACLS or relevant specialty training.
  • Previous experience working within the Canadian healthcare system.
