Registered Nurse PACU Travel Nurse

Assignment Location: Sechelt BC - Sunshine Coast

HealthOPM is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with PACU experience for a travel assignment at a hospital in Sechelt British Columbia. This opportunity is suited to a PACU nurse interested in working on BCs Sunshine Coast with a need beginning as early as possible in October and continuing onward.

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients during emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
• Assess respiratory cardiovascular neurological pain and overall recovery status.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and provide pain and symptom management within scope.
• Collaborate with anesthesia surgical and interdisciplinary teams.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and follow site policies and procedures.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in British Columbia or ability to obtain BC registration before the assignment.
• Recent PACU / post-anesthesia nursing experience.
• Current BLS.
• Strong acute-care assessment monitoring and clinical judgment skills.
• Availability for a travel assignment in Sechelt BC beginning in October or shortly thereafter.
