Radiology Yarmouth

Yarmouth Regional Hospital (YRH) is seeking a full time General Radiologist to join the thriving group of 7 in the dynamic hospital-based practice. The diverse practice offers a wide range of radiology services including radiography CT fluoroscopy breast imaging ultrasound MRI and image-guided procedures. Collegial relationships with onsite technologists support staff and physicians across various specialties. Flexible work hours are typically from 8 am to 4 pm. Responsibilities

• Diagnostic imaging services including CT MRI ultrasound x-ray mammography and nuclear medicine 
• Various image guided procedures
• Physician will be responsible to the Zone Department of Radiology for professional responsibilities and quality of practice as well as operated within the medical staff Bylaws of Nova Scotia Health
• Provide hospital and call support as required
• Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities as assigned

• On call requirement

Qualifications :

    Eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
    certification with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
    Eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
