Job Responsibilities:
Salary Range: $60000 - $80000
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Root Cause Analysis and leadership in the resolution of customer concerns;
- Communicate quality related changes to Engineering Departments to ensure that the corrective action can be applied to future similar circumstances;
- Participate on and provide support for troubleshooting to ensure a focus on high priority customer concerns; Provide support for APQP activity related to new product launches;
- Participate in the development of shop floor procedures to ensure that defined corrective actions are permanent;
- Provide support to Quality Department leadership to allow for increased focus on problem resolution;
- Through cross-functional work with all other departments obtain improvements for in-house rejections customer concerns cost of quality and run ratio measurables;
- Benchmark Techform quality practices against those of other automotive suppliers with the goal of continuous improvement;
- Take leadership role in responding to customer complaints in an appropriate and timely manner (ie. 8-D 7-D 5-P)
- Ensure that all environmental requirements are identified and addressed when performing duties.
- Ensure that all safety requirements are being carried out when performing duties.
- Comply with defined Business Management and Environmental Management Systems requirements.
- Provide support for the continuous improvement initiatives within Techform.
- Provide support in the attainment of Techforms operating system goals as outlined by the key graphs.
- Carry out all duties focusing on the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate.
Education And/or Experience:
- A post secondary degree as a Mechanical Engineer or equivalent is required;
- Superior organizational skills are required;
- Superior written and verbal communication skills are required;
- A thorough knowledge of generally accepted Quality Control procedures is required;
