Quality Assurance Analyst (Maternity Leave Cover)

As a Quality Assurance Analyst you will play an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products. Working closely with Product Design Development and Customer Support teams you will develop and execute test strategies across TDGs eCommerce websites on the Shopify platform helping us deliver a seamless experience for our customers.

As the Quality Assurance Analyst you will:

• Collaborate with the Development team to ensure projects are designed and delivered to high-quality standards.
• Develop and document test plans test cases and test scripts to support comprehensive and practical testing.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Perform functional exploratory regression acceptance performance security and usability testing to identify defects that existing test cases may not uncover.
• Identify track and report software defects working with cross-functional teams to support timely resolution.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to support the delivery of high-quality software.
• Partner with Development Product Management and Customer Support teams to help create a seamless customer experience.

As a successful candidate you will have:

• A degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field. A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
• Three or more years of experience in a Quality Assurance role preferably within a software development environment.
• Demonstrated experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of test case and defect-management tools such as Azure DevOps Xray or Jira.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with regression acceptance performance security and usability testing with the ability to analyze complex quality issues and develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency with Xray or a similar test-management tool including experience developing test plans and strategies for manual and automated testing.
• Strong decision-making problem-solving troubleshooting debugging and analytical skills.
• The ability to influence improvements to performance quality and user experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
• CSQA or ISTQB certification would be considered an asset.
• A satisfactory Criminal Record Check may be required.
