Position Overview
The Inbound Quality Technicianis responsible forensuring the quality and compliance of materials components and products entering Calian GNSS facilities. This role exists to conduct inspections manage the Material Review Board (MRB) area support supplier quality processes and contribute to ISO 9001 AS9100 and ISO 14001 compliance. The position supports both shopfloor operations and corporate management systems byidentifying documenting and resolving quality issues at the earliest possible stage.
Responsibilities
The Inbound QualityTechnician:
Performsincoming inspectionson standard and special products ensuring conformance to specifications and regulatory requirements.
Organizes and manages theMRB area documenting and segregating non-conforming materials.
Supportscorrective actions implementation including supplier corrective actions follow-up and monitoring.
Conductssupplier evaluation and monitoringactivities in coordination with the quality and procurement teams.
ExecutesICQ 8 process auditsand contributes to QMS/EMS internal audits (ISO 9001 AS9100 ISO 14001).
Providesshopfloor supportfor quality-related issues collaborating with operations and OPEX teams to resolve problems.
Performs and tracksmeasurement equipment calibrationto ensure accuracy and compliance.
Participates inoperational risk management activitiesfor changes new processes and environmental aspects/impacts.
Updates andmaintainschemical inventory recordsas part of environmental compliance.
Prepares inspection data audit findings and reports for management review.
Other duties aswithin the scope of inbound quality and supplier quality assurance.
Qualifications
College diploma or technical degree in Quality Engineering Technology or related field.
3 years of experiencein quality assurance preferably in inbound/supplier quality or electronics manufacturing.
Strong knowledge ofISO 9001 AS9100 and ISO 14001 standards.
Hands-on experience withincoming inspections MRB management and supplier quality processes.
Familiarity withcore quality tools(FMEA Control Plans PPAP FAIR).
Proficiencyinmeasurement equipment calibrationand inspection techniques.
Good communicationand collaboration skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.
Nice to have:SAP or ERP experience Lean/continuous improvement training knowledge of environmental compliance requirements
