THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Base Salary: CAD $68000.00 - 85000.00

We are looking for a QA Software Tester I with 1-2 years ofexperience in software quality assurance mobile application testing this role you will be responsible for testing web and mobileapplications to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Test mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Log and track defects in Jira working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Create and execute test plans and cases ensuring software meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with product owners developers and QA team members to understand application features and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium Cypress Postman and JavaScript.
• Participate in sprint planning backlog refinement and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team.

WHO WERE LOOKING FOR

• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on mobile and web applications.
• Strong skills in Appium Cypress and JavaScript for automation testing.
• Experience with manual testing (functional regression UI) on web and mobile applications.
• Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Familiarity with SDLC Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and TestRail (or similar tools) for test case management.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have Qualifications:

• Experience using or Knowledge of AI models that can be utilized for Automating Tests
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably in Azure DevOps).
