Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in the Banking/Financial Services domain to lead end-to-end quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive test strategy lead QA teams and ensure high-quality delivery across complex enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA lifecycle including test strategy planning execution and reporting
• Collaborate with Product Owners Business Analysts and Development teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios
• Design and implement automation frameworks and strategies
• Oversee functional regression integration and UAT testing
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and quality standards
• Mentor and guide QA team members; conduct code reviews and QA audits
• Track defects manage risk and provide quality metrics and reporting to stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes tools and methodologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At Least 10 years of experience in Software Testing / QA with at least 2 years in a Lead role.
• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in Banking Domain (Retail Payments Lending Capital Markets etc.)
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium Cypress Playwright etc.)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman Rest Assured)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA ALM TestRail)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and backend validation
• Excellent leadership stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter LoadRunner)
• Knowledge of data testing / ETL validation
• Prior experience working with Canadian banking clients
