QA Guidewire Functional Tester
Role Description
Experience Required: 68 years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning estimation execution defect management reporting and release readiness for Guidewire P&C initiatives.
- Drive testing across PolicyCenter BillingCenter ClaimCenter ContactManager and core insurance workflows.
- Validate quote bind policy change renewal cancellation billing claims documents and customer updates.
- Lead REST/SOAP API and integration testing for payloads mappings authentication errors and downstream impacts.
- Coordinate SIT E2E regression UAT support production checkout defect triage and status reporting.
- Identify automation opportunities for functional regression and API coverage.
Required Skills
- 8 years of QA testing experience including test lead ownership.
- 5 years of Guidewire testing preferably PolicyCenter plus BillingCenter ClaimCenter or ContactManager.
- Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge across Personal and/or Commercial Lines.
- Experience in functional integration API regression E2E UAT and production validation testing.
- Experience with Postman Swagger SoapUI REST/SOAP JSON XML SQL Jira Azure DevOps HP ALM and Agile.
Preferred Skills
- Guidewire certification.
- Guidewire Cloud upgrade/migration and implementation experience.
- GTF GT API or GT:UI experience.
- Selenium REST Assured Java Python Jenkins Git and data reconciliation.
- Knowledge of rating underwriting billing claims and regulatory workflows.
