Key Responsibilities
The Junior Consultant will be involved in both corporate andconsumerPR andmarketing communications projects which will include:
- Participating in strategic planning and development of creative concepts and campaigns for our clients.
- Developingand executingimpactful media relationsand social mediastrategies that deliver impact and results.
- Writingcompelling communications materials for a wide range of internal and external audiences.
- Planning and executing experientialand educational events.
- Conducting research measurementmonitoringand program reporting.
- Managing programs and workflow in a team environment.
- Providingadministrative supportensuringtimelyandaccuratetracking ofcampaignexpenses. This includes processing expense reportsmaintainingbudgets and liaising with finance team.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of proven experience in PR in Canada.
- At least two years within a PR agency environment isrequiredplease do not apply if you do not have this qualification.
- Proven relationships with local regional and national media.
- Exceptional writinglisteningand communication skills.
- Demonstrates assertiveness and takes initiative to proactivelyidentifyand address tasks challenges and opportunities.
- Ableto work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and completemultipleprojectssimultaneously sometimesunder tight deadlines.
- University or college degree in a related field such as Communications Public Relations Political Science or Journalism in Canada.
