Job Summary

Yarmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a full-time Pediatrician.  Join Nova Scotias thriving healthcare ecosystem where your expertise is valued and your contributions drive innovative compassionate care for generations to come.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and coordination of community-based care and secondary and tertiary level health care. 
  • Provide direct clinical outpatient care
  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care and coordination for the mental health unit at Yarmouth Regional Hospital
  • Provide emergency medicine services in conjunction with our crisis team
  • Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority. 
  • Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities. 

Expected Hours

  • Permanent Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Call is shared within the psychiatry group
