Job Title: Quality InspectorReports To: Quality Team LeadDepartment: QualityShift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM 4:00 PM - 12:00AMNo of positions - 2Rate: $17.60/hrKey Responsibilities:Conducts quality control inspections on electronic and mechanical products according to company quality procedures and workmanship standards (i.e. performs incoming in-process quality control inspections)Read and follow detailed written instructionsCompletes necessary quality control documentation (i.e. collect and record inspection data as per inspection procedure)Rework of soldered electrical assembliesSitting and using magnifier lenses for most of shiftsProvides feedback to teamAssists in training of new inspectors as assignedParticipate in team quality meeting(s) and provide feedback to team on issues identified after troubleshootingParticipate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set requirements are updated regularlyParticipate in all team level quality improvement initiativesQualifications:Minimum 2 years electronic assembly and inspection experience rework skills are a bonusKnowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Standards; knowledge of IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies and IPC-A-610 Printed Circuit Board guidelines preferredStrong understanding and application of workmanship standardsThorough understanding and application of quality standards and control proceduresDetail oriented quality conscious well organized analytical and reliableComfortable with speaking up when finding issuesAbility to understand and communicate in written and oral English is essentialGood quality close-up visionEnthusiasm and ability to work well independentlyA positive team first attitudeFlexibility to work shifts and perform different inspections according to business needsThis job posting is for an existing note that artificial intelligence (AI) is not used at any stage of our recruitment process.
