Project Manager

The function of the Project Manager is to provide direct support to the Division Manager and/or the sales representatives within the mechanical division. A Project Manager can be assigned directly to an outside sales representative or work as part of a team of project managers to support the divisions needs to service our customers. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: The following are principal duties of the Project our customers in an accurate and timely the outside salespeople when they are in or out of the self-educate through reading and asking supplier supported training when required. This could be in house or at the suppliers facilities. There may be limited travel the Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA) projects. This entails monitoring projects printing off potential tenders and entering the project information into Rep Edge sales program (this is an internal E.H. Price quoting & sales management program).Ensure that all take-offs are done. This needs to be managed between yourself and the other project of take-offs assigned to project manager. This would include all bid & spec projects design build projects and small projects that our customers send us each of final quotes for all final quotes with the Division Manager and/or assigned Sales team before the sales representatives send quote to drawing package preparation for all projects they are assigned by the Division Manager and/or their assigned sales management of all projects they are assigned by the Division Manager and/or their assigned sales for issuing purchase orders to manufacturers and releasing equipment for time to time the project managers will need to visit jobsites if a problem arises on a incoming calls from to incoming emails from on an as-needed basis walk-in and cash all divisional and office meetingsAssist in all customer events as required by the outside salespeople and managers. This could be open houses Sporting events lunches other duties assigned by your manager or the sales team you are working RELATIONSHIP: Project Managers report to the division manager and/or the outside sales representatives that make up the mechanical division. QUALIFICATIONS: At least one year of sales or consulting experience but 3 or more years would be preferred. An EIT . C.E.T. or M.E.T. is a of how to read & interpret construction experience with HVAC mechanical equipment would definitely be an asset.
