VPAC is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Tenant Improvements team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project management from pre-construction through project close-out ensuring that every project is completed on time on budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will
Lead the day-to-day management of tenant improvement and construction projects from pre-construction through project close-out.
Develop and maintain project scopes budgets schedules and master schedules ensuring projects are delivered on time and within established financial and contractual requirements.
Review drawings specifications permits contracts and project documentation to identify scope schedule cost and coordination requirements.
Tender negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements while maintaining strong trade relationships and ensuring contractual compliance.
Lead project communication and coordination with clients consultants subcontractors suppliers corporate teams and municipal authorities.
Monitor project costs schedules progress claims change orders delays and forecasts providing accurate reporting and timely escalation of significant issues.
Manage RFIs submittals shop drawings change orders site instructions and other project documentation while ensuring current construction documents are maintained.
Drive timely issue resolution expedite trades and suppliers and coordinate construction activities to maintain project momentum.
Lead project close-out including deficiencies substantial completion occupancy requirements warranties and turnover documentation.
Maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction safety quality financial performance and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
You have
58 years of progressive construction project management experience preferably within tenant improvements commercial construction or related construction environments.
Strong leadership communication organization problem-solving and relationship-management skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced collaborative construction environment.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with accountability for scope schedule budget quality safety and client relationships.
Proven ability to develop and maintain project budgets cost reports forecasts progress claims change orders and financial projections.
Strong understanding of construction drawings specifications permits RFIs submittals shop drawings and contract documentation.
Proficiency with Procore Microsoft Project or similar scheduling platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of WorkSafeBC requirements and construction site safety practices.
