Project Manager, Tailings, Water and Environment

AtkinsRéaliss Minerals and Metals team in Canada is made up of more than 400 employees who work on large-scale projects to support mining sustainability pit-to-port opportunities metallurgical plant engineering or mine closure and capabilities in the study design and construction of mining projects across a wide range of mining and processing methods and commodities. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Tailings Water and Environment (TWE) group within the Global Minerals & Metals (M&M) business this role you will lead and deliver multidisciplinary projects across a diverse portfolio that may include tailings management water resources hydrogeology environmental services mine closure permitting and supporting infrastructure projects for the mining and metals sector. Working closely with technical specialists clients contractors and stakeholders you will be responsible for driving project performance managing scope schedule cost quality and risk and fostering strong client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated project management professional looking to build a long-term career delivering complex projects within a global mining consultancy.

This role will be based in Vancouver BC.

In this role you will:

• Manage the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects through all phases of execution ensuring scope schedule budget quality and safety objectives are achieved.
• Lead project planning resource coordination risk management cost control forecasting and reporting activities.
• Coordinate and support technical teams across tailings water environmental geotechnical and engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and project delivery excellence.
• Drive project teams subconsultants and contractors toward successful execution while fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Support business development activities including proposal preparation work planning scope development budgeting and client engagement.
• Promote AtkinsRéalis project management best practices governance requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 5 years of project management experience delivering engineering environmental infrastructure mining or consulting projects.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Geoscience Environmental Science or a related discipline; eligible for or holding a professional designation (. . PMP or equivalent) is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated experience managing project scope schedules budgets resources and client expectations.
• Strong communication interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to grow a long-term project management career within the mining environmental and infrastructure sectors.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $93800 - $110000 annually) (Only Applicable to British Columbia). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
