As a Project Co-ordinator in the Radio-Canada Libraries and Archives (L&A) Innovation unit you will co-ordinate projects focused on developing and enhancing the departments content management systems.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Innovation Libraries and Archives you will play a key role in the ongoing development and maintenance of departmental content management systems in collaboration with other L&A units and CBC/Radio-Canada divisions as well as external partners. Leveraging your strong communication skills and diplomacy you will address the needs of staff internal clients and stakeholders while ensuring project deliverables align with departmental and organizational goals. Occasional availability outside regular business hours may be required to address operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze organizational taxonomy requirements.
- Co-ordinate taxonomy development across the Libraries and Archives department.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of content management systems used by L&A and other CBC/Radio-Canada divisions.
- Track project progress and co-ordinate key milestones with Digital Media and Technology & Infrastructure teams.
- Provide operational support for daily activities and special projects.
- Organize training sessions for departmental staff and internal clients.
- Evaluate information management systems and participate in the software and tool selection process.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your profile:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in a related field.
- Masters degree in information science an asset.
- Three (3) or more years relevant experience.
Skills:
- Project co-ordination experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills sound judgment strong analytical ability and initiative.
- Demonstrated leadership creativity collaborative mindset strong interpersonal skills and political savvy.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
- Excellent knowledge of document management and information retrieval/processing systems.
- Solid understanding of CBC/Radio-Canada systems broadcast production workflows and programming.
- Knowledge of taxonomy management tools structured data and markup.
- Proficiency in Windows environments (Word Excel) and Google Workspace.
- Fluency in French.
- Working knowledge of English is an asset.
- Experience working with artificial intelligence tools is an asset.
