Project Administrator Telecommunications (5-Month Contract)

Essential Responsibilities:
- Reviews current job log and follows up on any missing items within the life cycle (e.g. permits locates etc.)
- Accepts work from customer via email or portal and updates/tracks all new work with customer in Excel CRM and/or other database software
- Knowledge of the Ontario One call system for locate submission and ability to read locates a must
- Conducts weekly update calls and meetings with management and customers; establishes best dates for field scheduling and updates current status of all projects
- Submits daily WIP reports and applications for permits and locates as required
- Checks that any work being issued to a field foreman has valid permits locates and other required information
- Ensures that job packages are complete for the Construction Manager or Superintendent
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience working to support a major Telecommunications contract or a large construction project
- Proven history and experience in an underground utility coordinator position or construction industry experience
- Familiarity with protocol and practices of large telecommunications providers in the Ontario market an asset
- Well versed in Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced user of Excel) and or other project tracking programs
- Ability to learn quickly analyse information and problem solve based on clearly defined procedures

Compensation
$40000.00 - $55000.00This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
