Production Manager

Were looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operation and help drive our next stage of growth.

Pay Range: $120000 to $125000

• Lead and support Production Supervisors and hourly teams across multiple shifts creating a culture of safety accountability and teamwork.
• Own day-to-day production performance ensuring we meet safety quality schedule and productivity targets.
• Work closely with supervisors to plan labour manage priorities and keep production moving.
• Coach and develop your leadership team helping supervisors build their skills and confidence.
• Monitor key performance metrics including productivity downtime scrap labour and efficiency and turn the data into action.
• Be visible on the production floor identify issues early and work with the team to solve problems at the source.
• Partner with Maintenance Quality HSE and Continuous Improvement to improve equipment reliability processes and overall plant performance.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste improve flow and increase productivity.
• Ensure production teams follow company policies safe work practices quality standards and operating procedures.
• Support employee engagement training performance management and workforce development.
• Help build a strong pipeline of talent and develop the next generation of production leaders.

What Were Looking For

• 5 years of progressive manufacturing or production leadership experience.
• Previous experience managing production supervisors and hourly employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes production planning and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement or similar methodologies.
• Strong communication coaching and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and translate it into actionable improvements.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Experience in a 24/7 or rotating-shift manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Operations Manufacturing Engineering Business or a related field is an asset.
