The selected candidate will be a Product Owner and will play a key role within the agile team of the Total Fund Solutions value stream in order to maximize the value delivered by the Technology Data and Operations (TDO) group. Total Fund Solutions brings together clients (business partners) whose responsibilities include activities related to the Total Fund such as strategic portfolio construction defining investment mandates responsible investment risk management and performance calculation.

In short the incumbent will be responsible for establishing product roadmaps jointly with business stakeholders prioritizing work based on value facilitating agile ceremonies (sprint planning demos prioritization sessions) effectively resolving issues and collaborating with delivery teams to continuously provide added value to the business and capture untapped opportunities.

As a Product Owner Total Fund Solutions you will:

• Act as the main point of contact and identify customer needs with internal stakeholders

• Ensure the establishment maintenance and communication of the product roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders

• Collaborate with the Value Chain Architect to keep up with technology trends

• Document business cases and milestones including expected benefits

• Track and manage the allocated budget

• Manage structure and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with customers and the delivery team

• Articulate customer needs and their value to delivery teams during agile sessions while maintaining a focus on higher-value increments aligned with product strategy

• Manage customer delivery expectations and take action to meet delivery deadlines in collaboration with other TDO agile teams

• Remove delivery barriers under your control or report issues to managers to ensure on-time delivery

• Contribute to business analysis and solution documentation

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and experience graduate studies (.) an asset

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the investment field or experience related to pension funds experience related to strategic portfolio construction a strong asset

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an agile environment

• Excellent organizational skills and hands-on experience in managing product lifecycle stages (e.g. CVDL)

• Product Owner Certification an asset (e.g. PSPO etc.)

• CFA or FRM certification an asset

• Good active listening skills and communication skills (oral and written) and presentation skills

• Team player and ability to collaborate with a positive attitude

• Ability to think critically and solve problems

• Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our Hong Kong London and New York offices and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
