Product Engineer

emergiTEL is hiring a Product Engineer for our client in the Healthcare Technology industry. This is a Permanent role.

Compensation: $100000 - $120000 CAD per year options equity bonus
Location: Kitchener ON

Job Description (English)

About the Role

• Join a small fast-moving team building and shipping innovative healthcare technology products.
• Work across the full software stack and own features from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate directly with hospital administrators physicians and clinical end users.
• Contribute to a transparent high-performance culture focused on delivering impactful products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship product features across the full stack using Python TypeScript and React.
• Participate in customer discovery activities and user interviews with clinical stakeholders.
• Develop and integrate solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents.
• Contribute to software architecture deployment strategies and infrastructure decisions.
• Support scaling of products across hospital environments including VPN and on-premises deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering clinical and product functions.

Qualifications

• 24 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience building maintaining and troubleshooting React-based user interfaces.
• Ability to learn new technologies and business domains quickly.
• Interest in healthcare and improving patient outcomes through technology.
• Strong teamwork communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
