Product Application Architect Enterprise Modernization

We currently have a role as an Product Application Architect - Enterprise Modernization with our large consulting client working for a large modernization project for a public sector crown corporation in the Montreal area.

Role: Product Application Architect - Enterprise Modernization

Type: Permanent or Long Term Contract

Location: Hybrid - Montreal QC -(2/3 days per week onsite)

Salary: Base salary ranges from $140000 - $160000 (depending on experience) 9% bonus 4-5 weeks paid vacation 6% RRSP matching benefits sick/personal day cell phone allowance discounts for public transit and may other perks

Contract Pay Rate: $100 - $120/hr (freelance/incorporated)

Language Requirements: English & French

Define and evolve the architecture of transactional digital products to ensure their performance integration scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design application and integration architectures.
• Define services APIs and integration templates.
• Supervise the technological choices of the product teams.
• Ensure the consistency of the architecture with enterprise standards.
• Contribute to the performance security and resilience of solutions.
• Support the development teams throughout the implementation.
• Participate in the analysis of major incidents and continuous improvement.
• Support Cloud DevOps and application modernization initiatives.

• 10 years and more in software engineering.
