We are seeking a Procurement Student for ourCanadian Industrial Division district office in Edmonton AB that is available for8 months starting in January 2027. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the District Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities

As a Procurement Student and depending on your assigned project you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Sourcing materials services and equipment as directed and in accordance with policy and procedures.
Identifying and selecting vendors to purchase requisitioned commodities meeting criteria such as price quantity quality safety and delivery date.
Expediting orders.
Shipping and receiving.
Maintaining inventory levels and records.
Preparing procurement reports and documentation as required.
Providing equipment administration support.
Practicing PCL safety practices.
Assisting in all aspects as is reasonably available of procurement & equipment management activities.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role


Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management or Operations Management specialization in a post-secondary institution.
Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Maintains a positive working relationship with co-workers.
Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced results-oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
