Procurement Co-op Student

Scope of Position:

The Procurement Co-op Student will support the Purchasing and Logistics team with day-to-day procurement activities inventory management data analysis and system-related tasks. The role will provide hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations while supporting accurate records process improvements and cross-functional problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Purchasing team with day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
• Support STORES operations including inventory-related activities and maintaining accurate records.
• Work closely with Purchasing Logistics and Stores to identify investigate and resolve inventory-related issues.
• Support the SAP implementation team with system-related activities data entry testing documentation and other tasks as required.
• Help maintain accurate and organized purchasing and inventory records
• Demonstrate strong organizational analytical and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy particularly when working with data and reports.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and suppliers through professional verbal and written communication.

Basic Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university co-op program inSupply Chain Management Procurement Business Administration Operations Management or a related field
• Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
