• Ensure that no prohibited items gain access to secure areas

• Manage access to restricted areas consistently and with vigilance

• Remain alert and respond quickly to alarms incidents and violations

• Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts alarms and potential threats

• Accurately document and report security-related incidents violations and concerns

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent

• A clean criminal record with eligibility to obtain the required aviation security clearance (RAIC) which requires Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

• Ability to work on-site at Ottawa International Airport (YOW) in Ottawa

• Bilingualism (English and French) is required to effectively serve an international clientele
