Reporting to the Adult Learning and Employment Manager the Post-Secondary Education and Training Coordinator oversees and administers the TH Governments Post-Secondary Education and Short-term Training programs. The incumbent performs a range of administrative functions educationaloutreachand needed support to TH Citizens.
An Eligibility List may beestablishedfrom this competition the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time permanent part-time temporary full-time temporary part-time termor auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

EssentialQualifications:
- A post-secondary diplomadegreeor certificate with a minimum completion of post-secondary courses in business administration commerceeducationor a related discipline plus a minimum of two years of working experience in a related field; an equivalent combination of education experienceskillsand abilities may be considered.
- Working knowledge of student learning styles studyskillsand student success techniques.
- Knowledge of education and training issues affecting First Nations people particularly TH Citizens.
- Familiarity with Yukon-available post-secondary education and training institutions and programs.
- Experience inproviding front lineassistanceto clients in a program and service delivery setting.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft 365 programs (Word ExcelOutlookand PowerPoint) withanability to moderate videoconferencing meetings.
- Relevant experience using spreadsheets case managementsystemsand databases.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and restorative justice approaches.
