In this client-focused role you will act as a trusted advisor managing a portfolio of business clients while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and deliver tailored treasury and payment solutions that support their growth and operational efficiency.

What Youll Do

Manage and Grow a Client Portfolio

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of commercial clients developing deep knowledge of their business objectives and financial needs.
• Build and maintain trusted long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through treasury management cash management and payment solutions.

Deliver Strategic Treasury Solutions

• Provide consultative advice on treasury and cash management strategies that help clients improve working capital liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Analyze client financial and industry data to develop customized recommendations and solution strategies.
• Introduce innovative products services and digital capabilities aligned to client needs and market trends.

Drive Business Development

• Proactively identify develop and close new business opportunities within the portfolio.
• Lead client discussions regarding product offerings pricing and implementation strategies.
• Promote adoption of industry-leading treasury and payment solutions creating value for clients and the bank.

Ensure an Exceptional Client Experience

• Coordinate implementation activities and partner with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and timely delivery of solutions.
• Manage documentation pricing and project milestones throughout the implementation process.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and elevate the client experience.

Manage Risk and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements operational controls and risk management standards.
• Monitor account activity and operational processes to identify potential risks and implement appropriate escalation procedures.
• Exercise sound judgment and risk-informed decision-making to protect clients and the bank.

What Youll Bring

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Accounting or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in treasury management cash management commercial banking financial services or a related area.
• Demonstrated success in portfolio management relationship management or business development.
• Strong communication negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
