Canadian Blood Services is looking for aRegularFull-Time Planner to join our dynamic Strategic Planning and Business Integration team in our Collections Division.
By collaborating with cross-functional teams you will lead orchestration of the Collections planning processes and deliverables for the integrated supply plan that aligns divisional and national objectives supply requirements and donor growth strategies. You are proactive highly collaborative andorganized as you track and execute short- and long-term plan changes. You will work with your colleagues to ensure the national plan aligns with divisional priorities and integrates seamlessly with IBP processes.
The Collection Planners are integral members of the integrated planning team responsible for ensuring that the detailed event plan meets supply and demand and are in alignment with organizational expectations for projects and programs.
- Applying your excellent planning and analytical skills you will focuson leading collection planning and forecasting analyzing data to update plans and making recommendations to ensure divisional alignment. The role further requiresscenario planning stakeholder collaboration tracking adherence to plan while driving standardization and continuous improvement.
- Leveraging your exceptional relationship management skills you will facilitate meetings to stay ontrack and engage stakeholders createpresentations to communicate critical information andmanage conflicts with diplomacy.
- Utilizing your skills to drawinsights you will monitor metrics identify and escalate issues and provide leadership with trend analysis. You will work closely with the Lead Analyst Collections to develop scenario planning analysis by gathering divisional intelligence to support strategic direction.
- Drawing on your strong reporting skills you will prepare and maintainreports on plans and forecasts contributing to quarterly corporate results reviews and communicating long-term plans and strategic direction with stakeholders.
- Harnessing your continuous growth mindset you will supportprocess design and improvement within the Strategic Planning and Business Integration team by identifying areas for new standardized workflows addressing performance issues and assisting in risk mitigation to ensure successful outcomes.
- Completion of post-secondary education a university degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field. A degree in Supply Chain Operations Planning Finance Project Management or Continuous Improvement is an asset.
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Supply Chain operations.
- An equivalent combination of education training and experience may be considered.
- Experience in a non-for-profit environment as an asset.
- Demonstrated analytical organizational decision making and presentation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork facilitation influencing and negotiation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics data-processing and forecasting (using MS Excel) with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts.
- Experience in continuous improvement of methodologies and/or Project Management is an asset.
- Demonstrated management and administrative skills with knowledge of and experience in Management (theory and practice).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.
- SAP competency/experience in specific analytical tool implementation would be beneficial.

- This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time/ 2 days of the week.
- Shift/hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week 7.5 hours a day.
- Travel requirements some travel may be required for continuous improvement exercises team meetings and conferences. Travel will be within Canada.
