Pharmacy Assistant

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Medical Centre Pharmacy in Brooklin listed is a starting point only and will be determined based on candidate Focused Care Responsibilities:Blister Packs & Compliance Packaging: Filling and sealing multi-dose blister packs Processing: Entering patient insurance and doctor data into pharmacy Support: Counting pills measuring liquids and labeling under pharmacist Control: Checking stock ordering supplies and removing expired & Billing: Operating cash registers and processing third-party insurance claimsAttention to Detail: Double-checking work to ensure zero medication errorsFocus & Concentration: Maintaining accuracy during repetitive packaging Service: Assisting patients warmly and professionally in person and by Management: Multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced : Working seamlessly with pharmacists and technicians to meet with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferredPrevious experience within a pharmacy is an assetExcellent verbal and written communication skills ability to thrive in a team environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software (Fillware Kroll)Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containersWillingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as neededSchedule:24-30 hours per week; availability for rotating Saturdays is requiredStore hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PMWho We Are:Neighbourly Pharmacy is Canadas largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
