Job Summary
Rx Drug Martis looking for a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team inEnglehart Focused Care Responsibilities:Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient careGreet customers and answer phone calls in a professional mannerAssist with entering labelling and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technicianAccurately count measure and package medications according to established protocolsReceive and stock medication and supply shipments monitor inventory levels rotate stock and support inventory auditsKeep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulationsPerform clerical tasks such as filing faxing scanning and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfersAssist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy witha preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business is an in using Kroll and highly accurate and efficient in prescription data entry is an of a pharmacy assistant program is an verbal and written communication skills ability to thrive in a team environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containersWillingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as neededSchedule:The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Candidates must be flexible and available to work both daytime and evening shifts as needed to support business We Are:Neighbourly Pharmacy is Canadas largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.
