HealthOPM is currently seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join a friendly retirement home in the Goderich area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting seniors in maintaining their independence dignity and quality of life.

• Provide personal care including bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
• Assist residents with mobility transfers and other activities of daily living.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting independence.
• Assist with meals hydration and light housekeeping as required.
• Observe and report any changes in residents physical emotional or cognitive well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Follow infection prevention and control workplace health and safety and organizational policies.

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized Ontario program.
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (issued within the last 12 months).
• Current TB screening/clearance.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is considered an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a retirement home or long-term care setting is an asset.
