About the role:

ThePeople ServicesAdvisorwillbe responsible forprovidingsupport to the People Services HR Business Partner Team.You willbe responsible for providing HRadvisory acrossa variety ofareasincluding employee engagement performance management training and developmentleadership onboarding HR analyticsretention strategies and diversityfor the assigned business lines (GlobalShared Services and Corporate Canada).You will alsobe responsible forhandling employee questions and requests always resolving issuesin a timely mannerwith theappropriate documentationand day-to-day operations and administration in the planning and execution of HR programs and procedures.As a key member of the People Services teamyoullassistin the delivery of our annual HR programsand provideemployment law information to managers(and employees)upon request. You willbe responsible for developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and youll be responsible forbeing the first point of contact HR Business Partner forselect groups.

In this role you will:

  • Partner withHR Leader and stakeholderson the development implementation and continuous management of People Services initiatives/programs throughout the business lines.

  • Partner strategically withHR Leader andbusiness leaders to drive and deliver people strategies and goalsand create new HR programs specific to business line where.

  • Supports People Leadersthrough a range of employee relations matters; performance management issues coaching managers conducting investigations disciplinary action handling of terminations and conducting exit interviews. Provides managers with information on employment legislation and policy information toassistwith employee relations issues. Keepsmanagement apprisedand seeks guidance for complex situationsand escalates urgent issues tothe Employee Relationsteam when necessary.

  • Responsible for administration of separation process this includes calculating severance recommendations drafting termination paperwork updating separation tracker

  • SupportsPeople Leaders with any questions during theannual bonus/merit cyclesensuresmooth andtimelyexecution ofbonus/meritprocess.

  • Work closely with extended People Services team members (Talent Acquisition Learning & Development CompensationBenefitsPayrollLegalEmployeeRelationsandHRSolutions etc.)to deliver expert specialist advice to managers and employees.

  • Providecontinuous development of employee related programs and initiatives along with making recommendations to improve internal processes to increase efficiency.

  • Partner with HR Leader to provide support for EMEA and APAC Technology professionals where needed including providing compensation benchmarking analysiscreating Global programs etc.

  • Responsible for creating ad-hoc training and/or partnering with our Learning and Development team to create training materials andfacilitatetraining as needed.

  • Support People Managers with analysis of their employee engagement survey results conduct focus groups and provide recommendations for their action plan.

  • Support with providingmetricsand reports such asturnover rate new hire rate attrition distributionlistsetc.

  • Responsible for all other HR activities such ascreatingorg charts drafting communicationsand talking points for org changes supporting with succession planning activitiesandadditionalduties as

What you bring:

  • 3 years of HR experience in a similarrole.

  • Commercial Real Estate experience is a bonus.

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study.

  • CHRPdesignation (or working towards one)is an asset

  • Experience working in a multi-location and matrixed organization would be an asset

  • Strongexperienceusing Excel Word PowerPoint. Workday experience or familiarity witha similarHRIS.

  • Strong analytical skills with the strong ability to create insights from employee data and survey results.

  • Excellentorganizationfollow-throughand follow-upwith a proventrack recordofmeetingcommitments and deadlines.Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability todemonstratesoundjudgmentwhile maintaining ahigh degree of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Creative and innovative; takes the initiative to solve problems and recommend improvements.

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $76715 to $85000 CAD.

Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
