P&C Designer

• Complete engineering designs and drawings packages by using AutoCAD;
• Complete document control submissions and management;
• Coordinate project work with the team lead other engineering disciplines and project manager;
• Perform other administrative and technical functions in support of engineering activities;
• Liaise with engineering document control and ISO quality control standards for compliance.

Qualifications :

• College degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent (asset);
• 3 - 5 years or more protection and control drafting experience;
• Ability to understand and prepare electrical single line diagrams AC/DC schematics connection wiring diagrams elementary wiring diagrams bills of materials and cable lists;
• Experience in verifying drawings prepared by others to ensure correct symbols standards and techniques are followed in the preparation of production drawings;
• Experience performing electrical and telecom drafting and application of the fundamental skills and use of drafting equipment;
• Familiar with engineering standards manufactures drawings and meridian document management system;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Excel and Word.
