Position Overview
Calgary Construction Operations is hiring aPaving Foremanto support our Paving Division inCalgary Albertafor the 2026 Season.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the asphalt mix is placed to the correct grade and thickness.
- Communicate with asphalt plant to perform trucking & material cut offs.
- Inspect the prepared area before paving.
- Coordinate with trucks delivering asphalt to the paver.
- Inspect paved surfaces for quality and smoothness.
- Responsible for inputting time daily.
- Responsible for managing all daily construction activities on the site(s).
- Overseeing crews onlarge scale asphalt paving projects.
- Plan schedule organize direct and control construction projects from start to finish according. to schedule specifications and budget.
- Working and communicating with Superintendents and Project Managers/Coordinators.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- 3 years experience as an Asphalt Paving Foreman.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors co-workers in a courteous professional manner at all times.
- Maintains a valid Class 5 drivers license or better.
- Willing to work overtime nightshift and weekends as required.
- Must comply with the companys drug & alcohol program including testing requirement.
