As the Parts Journeyperson you will provide exceptional customer service and advice; identify and source parts as well as inspecting and processing cores and parts returns.

• Dedicated parts person located on Customer Site in Acheson
• Process customer orders; source and ordering parts
• Inspecting and processing customers parts returns and processing cores
• Back order management and daily updates to the customers
• Exceptional customer service and collaboration with all facets of clients organization
• Support parts orders from the local shop as well as from customer operations in other facilities
• Support the customer with standard Bills Of Materials for work in the shop
• First point of contact for the customer to inquire on piece parts orders

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts warehouse front counter sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
• A high performance positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships; ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
• Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
• Experience with SIS AIMS Antares SIMSi InfoCast Lawson M3 Landmark Smart Office M3 Sales Automation
• Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: mining heavy construction and technology products.

Important Details:

• This position is based in Acheson AB on a 5x2 shift. (Monday-Friday)
• Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
