Position Summary

Under the direction of the F&B Supervisor the Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service and quality food and beverage service in a high-volume fast-paced environment. Above all else must embrace and be aligned with Casino Nova Scotias culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.

Job Duties

  • Provides exceptional guest service to dining guests
  • Provides full-table service following established standards of service
  • Cleans buses and sets tables
  • Performs other cleaning duties as required including Server side duties
  • Works as a member of the team and provides support to co-workers on shift to ensure an overall positive experience for all guests
  • Other assigned duties as required
  • Finds ways to play; you are serious about work without being serious in your demeanor
  • Chooses to make everyday a great day
  • Stays focused in order to be there
  • Delivers an exceptional entertainment experience to internal and external guests to ensure you make their day

Minimum Qualifications

  • Embraces the Casino Nova Scotia culture and philosophy and has a playful infectious and all about the guest attitude!
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is required
  • Completion of the Responsible Service Certificate Serve Right - its just good business is required
  • Minimum 1 year of food and beverage serving experience is required
  • Proven strong sales and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize is required
  • Proven GEM skills are required
  • Must be energetic and able to work quickly under pressure in a busy fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills is required
  • Proven ability to commit to offering our guests the highest level of guest service
  • Satisfactory attendance is required
  • Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be friendly detailed oriented fun and outgoing!
  • WHMIS training an asset
  • Micros experience an asset
