Part-Time Sales Lot Attendant

Jim Pattison Toyota Northshore is looking for a dependable and motivated Part-Time Lot Attendant to join our Sales Department. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to get your foot in the door of the automotive industry and become part of a fast-paced dealership this role you will help keep the dealership lot organized and ensure vehicles are clean presentable and ready for customers. If you are reliable detail-oriented and take pride in your work this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and start building your career in the automotive : This is a part-time position offering approximately 23 hours per week. The regular schedule is as follow -Saturday: 9:30 AM 6:00 PMSunday: 11:00 AM 5:00 PMMonday: 8:30 AM 5:00 hours may be available on statutory holidays with a scheduled shift of 11:00 AM 5:00 PM bringing the total weekly hours to approximately 29 hours when applicable.A Day in the LifeMaintain and monitor the cleanliness organization and overall presentation of all vehicle inventory including exterior washing and interior cleaningEnsure vehicles are displayed in a way that creates a positive first impression for customers Maneuver arrange and relocate inventory and guest vehicles with careCapture clear appealing photos of pre-owned vehicle inventory and assist with posting them onlineEnsure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reportedSafe use of tools equipment and cleaning suppliesEnsure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer informationParticipate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environmentOther duties as assignedWhat Were Looking ForA valid BC Drivers license is required including a satisfactory Drivers Abstract reportPrevious experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong assetAbility to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferredStrong customer-service skills with a friendly approachable attitudeDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilitiesReliable punctual and dependableThis is a physically active role and requires the following:Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lotWalking and/or standing for long periodsFrequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehiclesWashing vehicles which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending crouching and reachingSignificant time spent outdoors in various weather including sun rain wind snow cold and heat.
