Cochrane Toyota is looking for an experienced dependable and quality-focused Automotive Glass Technician / Glazier to join our team on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced glass technician looking to supplement their existing income while working with a busy established Toyota dealership.

Youll be responsible for the safe removal and installation of automotive windshields and glass ensuring every job meets manufacturer specifications safety requirements and our high standards of workmanship.

• Part-time position with evening and weekend shifts.

• Ability to complete scheduled installations independently and efficiently.
  
  

• Remove and replace automotive windshields on Toyota and other makes of vehicles.

• Perform windshield installations using approved adhesives primers and installation procedures.

• Follow manufacturer specifications for windshield positioning bonding curing and safe drive-away times.

• Inspect glass mouldings seals and surrounding surfaces before and after installation.

• Safely remove damaged glass while protecting vehicle paint trim and interior components.

• Identify and communicate any additional damage or concerns discovered during removal or installation.

• Ensure vehicles are properly prepared for any required camera calibration or advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) procedures.

• Document completed installations and maintain accurate repair records.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  
  

• Previous professional automotive windshield installation experience required.

• Experience removing and installing windshields on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

• Strong understanding of automotive glass adhesives primers bonding procedures and safe drive-away requirements.

• Familiarity with vehicles equipped with ADAS cameras and windshield-mounted safety systems.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

• A dependable professional attitude and strong work ethic.

• Valid Alberta Class 5 drivers licence and satisfactory driving record.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  
  

• Ability to stand bend kneel crouch and reach throughout assigned shifts.

• Ability to safely lift position and install automotive windshields using appropriate lifting equipment or assistance when required.

• Manual dexterity to safely operate automotive glass removal and installation tools.

• Ability to work with automotive adhesives primers and other installation materials while following required safety procedures.

• Mandatory use of task-appropriate PPE including safety footwear gloves and eye protection.

• Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position with reasonable accommodation where required.
