POSITION SUMMARY: To palletizefinished goods being produced by Production. Reports case count to production. Vernon facility ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Palletizes product produced in Vernon Facility. Reports any food safety or quality problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action. Follows J&J Snack Foods all OSHA safety rules Food Safety Plan (FSP) the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Good Documentation Practices (GDPs). Follows all food safety laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Food Quality and Safety Requirements Palletizer will be responsible for maintaining food quality and safety within the plant. Food quality and safety issues must be reported to Quality Assurance Manager and or Plant the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager or Plant Manager food quality and safety issues will be brought to the attention of the General Manager. COMPETENCIES: To perform this job successfully Palletizer must be self-motivated able to problem solve detail-oriented and able to stay on task. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Excellent organization and time management skills. Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish a versatile and evolving workload. Excellent in all forms of communication. Innovative problem solver flexible and able to juggle multiple priorities. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task prioritize and adapt well to change. Basic arithmetic. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED.
