We are seeking a highly motivated Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure & Security Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in supporting maintaining and securing operational technology environments ensuring the reliability integrity and security of systems that support essential utility services. You will work at the intersection of IT and OT focusing on infrastructure cybersecurity and compliance within industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support OT infrastructure including servers networks and virtualization platforms within industrial environments
Monitor performance availability and reliability of OT systems
Assist in lifecycle management of OT assets (patching upgrades hardware refresh)
Support disaster recovery and backup solutions for OT environments
Implement and maintain OT security controls aligned with industry frameworks (e.g. NIST IEC 62443)
Monitor for and respond to cybersecurity incidents within OT environments
Conduct vulnerability assessments risk analyses and remediation planning
Collaborate with IT security teams to align enterprise and OT cybersecurity strategies
Analyze logs and alerts from OT systems and security tools
Investigate and respond to incidents and anomalies
Participate in incident response exercises and post-incident reviews
Ensure OT systems meet regulatory audit and internal compliance requirements
Support audits documentation and reporting for OT security programs
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and controls
Work closely with engineering operations and IT teams to support OT initiatives
Contribute to modernization efforts and digital transformation projects
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system security and efficiency
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Cybersecurity or a related field
35 years of experience in OT IT infrastructure or cybersecurity
Experience working with SCADA ICS or industrial environments is preferred
Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP firewalls segmentation VLANs)
Experience with Windows/Linux systems in a production environment
Familiarity with OT protocols (e.g. Modbus DNP3)
Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (SIEM endpoint protection vulnerability scanners)
Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
Understanding of OT security principles and best practices
Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF ISO 27001 or IEC 62443
Knowledge of threat detection incident response and risk management
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced critical infrastructure environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and security
Qualifications
Industry certifications such as CISSP GICSP Security or CCNA/CCNP
Experience in utilities energy or critical infrastructure sectors
Knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
