Operations Team Leader

Irving Tissue is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Operations Team Leaderto join our team in Saint John NB. This role offers a unique blend of frontline leadership hands-on operations and strategic involvement.

• Lead a crew of 12 operators on two tissue machines.
• Promote and enforce safety housekeeping production and quality standards.
• Facilitate daily troubleshooting and problem-solving with operating teams.
• Manage crew performance and support employee development.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts.
• Participate in strategic initiatives

• A Bachelors degree or a completed 2-year (minimum) post-secondary program in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 35 years of experience in pulp & paper or other industrial environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
