Ingram Micro is looking for anAfternoon Operations Supervisorto lead our outbound team.

The Afternoon Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations and supervising a team of hourly associates. This role provides hands-on leadership manages daily workflow and labour requirements monitors performance and supports the development and engagement of associates while driving continuous improvement across the operation.

Shift: Monday to Friday 12:30pm- 9:00pm - Shift Premium Provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations and supervise activities for assigned team to meet productivity quality goals and client objectives.
• Supervise and lead a team of hourly associates directly to ensure KPIs productivity targets and quality standards are achieved.
• Assists in implementation of and adherence to company objectives policies and plans.
• Evaluates site operations with respect to quality standards safety standards and customer support. Understands ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 and 270001: 2022 standards as well as principles of Lean.
• Communicates effectively with partner customers and site associates.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks based on volumes labour requirements and operational priorities.
• Monitor employee performance attendance and productivity while providing ongoing feedback coaching and development opportunities.
• Ensure all associates operate equipment and perform tasks safely and in accordance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts audits proper product handling and adherence to inventory control procedures.
• Ensure warehouse areas remain clean organized and compliant with company housekeeping and audit standards.
• Support employee relations activities including performance management disciplinary actions recognition programs and engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university
• 3 to 5 years of shift supervisor experience is a requirement
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations inventory control productivity management and health and safety practices.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.
• Strong communication interpersonal coaching and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.
• Ability to analyze operational data and KPIs and take appropriate action to improve performance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Regularly required to stand walk reach and crouch
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Overtime may be required during peak season and quarter/ month ends.

The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is $72000 -82000 CAD per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual starting base pay across all of Canada for all roles. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors including work location complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience and skills.
