Description

The Office Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch. This position serves as a central point of contact for customers employees and business partners while providing administrative customer service payroll inventory and accounting support. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment enjoy working with people and take pride in delivering accurate and timely service.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by responding to inquiries processing orders handling payments and supporting front-counter sales activities.
  • Coordinate customer orders with operations to ensure accurate processing timely fulfillment and a positive customer experience.
  • Support payroll administration employee onboarding training records and other employee-related administrative activities.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoice processing account inquiries reconciliations collections and period-end activities.
  • Maintain inventory records and support cycle counts inventory reporting product tracking and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Process sales orders purchase orders customer pricing updates inventory adjustments and other transactions within company systems.
  • Complete branch administrative activities including reporting record management filing petty cash balancing and general office support.
  • Collaborate with operations sales procurement finance and other branch locations to support business objectives and drive operational efficiency.


Qualifications
  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration Office Administration Accounting or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative or office support role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and inventory management processes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the agriculture industry would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends during busy season
