Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage purchasing activities and provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the purchasing process including sourcing ordering and tracking of office supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain and update purchasing records supplier lists and related documentation.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and pricing.
  • Coordinate with departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses related to office operations.
  • Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings handling correspondence and maintaining office files.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
  • Support in preparing reports and presentations as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in office administration and purchasing.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in office software including MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
